We have been building hosting in Serbia for more than two decades. Today, we host thousands of websites and online stores throughout Serbia and the region, and we make almost everything that drives our service ourselves.
How it all began
Behind WebHosting Serbia stands more than two decades of experience in creating websites. We knew firsthand the cost of slow hosting and unresponsive support, so we made it better. We started modestly, on one VPS server.

As the number of clients grew, we switched to a dedicated server, then to several dedicated servers that we maintain ourselves today. From day one, we wanted the client to have their own panel, simple and powerful.

A few months ago we launched our own AI chatbot software, completely our own.
WHS panel, our alternative to cPanel
Instead of relying on someone else's panel, we built our own, from scratch. WHS panel is our alternative to cPanel, built on Go core and Nginx server, with HTTP/3 and Brotli compression for maximum speed. It works without root privileges, with Coraza WAF protection with OWASP rules, account isolation through SELinux, cgroups and chroot, and Imunify360 real-time protection. Backups are encrypted and SSL certificates automatically. Through one panel you manage sites, backups, email, databases, WordPress staging environment, Cloudflare zone and cache, as well as Node.js, Python and Go applications. Everything the panel runs is developed by us, and the only premium license we keep is Imunify360.

I am Djordje, founder and owner of WebHosting Serbia. 23 years ago I made my first website professionally, for money, and I haven't stopped since. I started with SMS notification and automation systems, and then shifted my focus to the kind of hosting I wanted to use myself. Today, I'm proud that almost everything that powers our service, from the control panel to the AI chatbot, we build ourselves. And we've only just begun.
