5 WordPress Site Building Plugins

As easy as it seems to us to manage WordPress with all its options, sometimes it's quite difficult to coordinate everything and make it look just the way you want it to.

Site Building plugins allow you to easily overcome the problem of design and all editing with a simple drag-and-drop system.

The Divi Builder

Although most closely related to Elegant Themes, The Divi Builder is a fairly robust tool, far more innovative than its counterparts.

Key advantages:

It comes with some pre-existing plugins like contact form or gallery.
It uses a system of rows and columns on the pages
Supports click and drag option
Both front-end and back-end changes are included
It allows you to see how your pages look on mobile

Easy to use

Getting to know this tool only takes a few minutes because it is too easy to use, but for some professional use you will need a little more time. Every site builder comes with its own set of options, so this one comes with quite a few.

Price

$69 for a year, which is a lot for our current situation, but certainly worth it for a more serious project

Beaver Builder

Like every plugin, it pretty much works on the same principle.

Key benefits

Dolzai with a large number of modules that are very easy to use
It uses columns and rows for each of the modules

Easy to use

Just using it to learn how to work in Beaver Builder is incredibly simple. Since the builder itself works on the front-end, any changes can be seen immediately. Dragging elements around the page is quite simple and with one click you will change the entire page.

Price

The basic version of the plugin is free, but the premium version comes for $99 per year.

Page Builder by SiteOrigin

The first two plugins are great if you need a plugin that has pretty advanced features and lots of them. But if you work on a simple site, then this plugin is definitely for you.

Key benefits

It works on most modern and recent themes
It works on both front-end and back-end
It shows the site as it looks on mobile versions

Easy to use

Of all the tools tested, SiteOrigin is the easiest to use. Although it does not come with many options and innovations, its ease of use is definitely its virtue.

Price:

SiteOrigin is completely free.

Visual Composer

Visual Composer is very similar to Divi Builder when it comes to the number of options. It might even be better when it comes to these two because it comes with premium plugins that you can usually find in premium themes.

Key features

Over 60 plugins are included
It comes with a large number of ready-made layouts
It comes with the capability for 150 additional expansion modules

Easy to use

If we were to evaluate the ease of use if we compare it with Divi Builder, Visual Composer would have a slight advantage. But if you were to compare the design and layout itself, Divi would come in front of this tool.

Price

To be able to use this tool you have to pay $34 per license.
