If you want to set up a CronJob, the solution is quite simple.
cPanel – Cron Jobs
Select the time when you want the page-script to run and in the "command" field enter:
php -q /home/username/public_html/cron.php
then click "add new cron job".
This means that the PHP page cron.php located in the public_html folder will be run for the time period you specified.
Keep in mind that if you put a cron job as often as possible, like every minute or even less, it can cause the server to be busy and thus higher usage, which can cause your account to be suspended.
Cron Job is usually started to process some data and it would be best to set it so that it is activated once a day during the period when you have the least visits, which is somewhere around 3-4 in the morning.
