Let's repeat once again, although we wrote in some of our previous articles the difference between international .com, .net... and domestic .rs domains. RS domains are a priority when it comes to local search. This means that if your target group is from Serbia, then certainly the RS domain would have to be your only option. Because RS will certainly advance better on the Google search engine than the same domain with a .com extension for the local market, i.e. Serbia.
Another concern about the domain difference.
Apart from the advantages of RS domains compared to international .com ... there is no difference in terms of the technology itself in terms of search engines. As for technology all domains are equal and they all work the same way.
It also doesn't matter where the domain was purchased and where the hosting is. Domains unlike hosting are not physically located anywhere nor will they work better if purchased somewhere for one reason or another. Unlike hosting, domains can be purchased in Madagascar and will work just as well as if they were purchased in India.
What still worries some users is whether it is better to buy a .co.rs or just a .rs domain. In that case, the answer is better .rs because it is easier and simpler in contrast to .co.rs. And people are used to it being as short and simple as possible, so .rs is a better option for that reason alone.
.co.rs can only be registered by legal entities, which is also its only advantage because it immediately says that you are a legal entity.
