You can use URL redirection when you want to redirect visitors from one page to a new page or if you want to direct all visitors from one domain to another. Let's say you have an older version of the site on the old domain and a new version of the site on the new domain, and you redirect it with a 301 redirect, which helps search engines and is especially useful because of Google search. Because everything revolves around SEO and site visits.
The procedure is as follows:
cPanel – Redirects
„"Type" there, choose 301 if you want to completely and permanently transfer visitors to a new page or a different one.
Below the field, select the domain you want to redirect
in the "/" field, if you are redirecting a page, enter the name of that page.
„In "Redirects to", enter the link to the new site there. If you want a page, enter the link of the new page, if you want the whole site, enter only the site.
Below, select "Redirect with or without www." and after that you have one box to tick. If you redirect the entire domain, then if you do not check that box, only the vasdomen.rs domain will be redirected to novidomen.rs, but vasdomen.rs/kontakt will not be redirected to novidomen.rs/kontakt. And if you tick then each page will be redirected to a new domain with that same page.
