Changing the domain owner or registrant is a procedure in which the old registrant hands over the ownership of the domain and the use of the domain to the new registrant.
- The procedure for COM, NET, ORG, BIZ, INFO, ME domains is extremely simple and completely free.
You simply log in to this site and edit the information in the domain section and that's it.
- The procedure for .RS domains (rs, co.rs, org.rs, in.rs, edu.rs, srb...) is a somewhat more complicated process and the price is 900.00 RSD, one time. The current owner needs to send an email with a request for a domain transfer and provide the information of the new owner (registrant), namely first and last name, address, email, phone number or, if it is a company, the name of a legal entity and TIN. After paying the bill, we start the transfer and send the document to the current owner, i.e. "„Statement of change of domain registrant“" which needs to be signed (and stamped if it is a legal entity). If it is a legal entity, it is necessary to Statement filled in by an authorized representative of the company (RNIDS checks in APR). The current owner sends the scanned statement to us and we forward it to RNIDS after verification. After approval by RNIDS (may take up to 2 business days), the domain is owned by the new registrant and the old registrant waives all rights to the domain. In addition, confirmations (links) will be sent to the email of the current and new registrants, which must be approved on both sides in order to complete the process.
This also applies if the data of the same person or registrant is changed, for example if the wrong data was entered by mistake.
