In addition to Flash player, another huge problem that represents a security risk is Java. Java patched their software about two years ago, but the problem remained the same, even bigger. The security team rated this issue 9.3 out of 10 on the vulnerability scale.
The problem is even bigger because this flaw affects both servers, computers and Google App Engine.
It is still not clear when Oracle will make an update only for this vulnerability or it will go with the classic update version that comes out as planned on April 19.
When such big failures and software vulnerabilities happen, it is easy to find justifications for Google to try to completely exclude these software from use. Unfortunately, a huge number of websites and programs still use Java.
