For more advanced users and developers, the Integrations tab offers two powerful tools: AI tools, with which the bot calls your services mid-conversation, and webhooks, with which your system receives event notifications. They can be accessed through the site, Integration tab, Integration subsection.
AI tools (bot calls your service)
The AI tool allows the bot to call your service mid-conversation and return accurate, up-to-date information, such as checking order status or availability. For each tool, you define when the bot should use it (a description for artificial intelligence), a URL template with variable fields, and optionally from which part of the response to take the text. For security, the call goes exclusively via HTTPS, GET type only, with limited time and response size.
Webhooks (your system receives notifications)
A webhook sends a notification to your server when an event occurs, such as a new message or the start of a conversation. For each webhook you specify an address (HTTPS), and each call carries an HMAC signature in the header, so you can check that it really came from us. This easily connects to tools like Zapier, n8n and Make, or your own service. The detailed message format for developers is shown on the dashboard tab.
